Maintenance Electrical Team Leader

A Maintenance Electrical Team Leader is required to supervise the electrical team within the Engineering Department. 

Applicants must:-

Essential Criteria:

  • Have a recognised 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering (HNC or equivalent);
  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience in an electrical supervisory / co-ordination role within a production / engineering environment;
  • Have extensive experience of hands on fault diagnosis in electrical systems and equipment within a manufacturing environment;
  • Have experience of a wide range of motor control systems, process temperature controls and PLC/PC control systems;
  • Have experience of equipment installation;
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Have experience of maintenance management systems;
  • Have a proven track record of equipment reliability analysis, review and improvement;
  • Have strong analytical skills;
  • Have a proven track record of training and developing staff


Desirable Criteria:

  • Be IT competent, with detailed working knowledge of MS Word and Excel;
  • Have experience of project management;
  • Have a recognised qualification in people management (ILM level 3 );
