MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT – MACC1-17

 

Reporting to the Finance Manager the management accountant is responsible for all aspects of product margin reporting and will be expected to make a significant contribution to the development of the management information systems.

 

Candidates must hold a recognised accountancy qualification and have a minimum of 3 year’s recent and relevant broad based experience.  Advanced working knowledge of Windows based software including excel spreadsheets is essential. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and ZAP would be desirable.

 

Candidates must have GCSE’s or equivalent at Grade B or above in English and Mathematics. Although not essential a degree in Business Studies, Accountancy or similar post graduate qualification would be advantageous.

 

A proactive approach to problem solving, the ability to work well within a team and direct others towards the achievement of objectives are also key skills.  Experience of working within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.

 

Candidates will need to demonstrate strong attention to detail and a proven ability to deliver high quality work within strict time frames and confident written and oral communication skills in this hands on role. You should have a sound financial background with the ability to accurately and incisively interpret financial data, recommend actions for improvement and bring a value-added dimension.
