At Brett Martin Daylight Systems a stringent quality programme is in operation where quality is designed into every product and process and is the responsibility of every employee.

Our goal is to achieve customer satisfaction by maintaining an effective quality management system throughout every operation and function in line with organisational goals and objectives.

We are committed to continually reviewing our quality objectives to exceed our customers' expectations and needs. A thorough management review and audit takes place annually to ensure that the Quality Management System continues to be suitable, adequate and effective.

To support and reinforce this policy of ensuring continuous improvement, we have developed and implemented structured procedures for each department which are subject to continual review and improvement.

Certifications and Approvals

In addition to complying to stringent quality procedures each product range is manufactured to exacting standards to satisfy specific industry requirements and benchmarks. This depends on each individual product but may include a selection of the following, depending on the application.

Non Fragility

Our rooflights are fully tested in accordance with ACR[M]001:2005 and we have a range of options providing safe, robust products which are resilient to impact and accidental damage.

Part L Building Regulations 2006

Our rooflights can be specified to achieve a thermal performance well in excess of the requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations for a more thermally efficient building, lower carbon emissions and a positive contribution to BREEAM ratings, especially when combined with artificial lighting controls.

Weathertightness

Where necessary our rooflights are designed to comply with the requirements of BS EN 1873:2005 ensuring reliable all weather performance.

Fire Certification

Our rooflights are fully compliant with the fire requirements as set out in the UK Building Regulations. Please contact us for specific details and fire certification.

Air Flow, Air Leakage and Weathertightness

Our ventilation options meet the requirements of BS EN 13141 Part 1 2004 for air flow, air leakage and weathertightness. A range of options including both background and purge ventilation can assist in satisfying the requirements of Part F as set out in the UK Building Regulations.

BBA Approval

A range of products through the range have achieved BBA Approval. Refer to www.bbacerts.co.uk, or details may be requested from the Technical Department.
