Brett Martin’s Olympic Stadium Project Shortlisted in 2015 EPSE Awards Competition
Brett Martin is delighted to have the London Olympic Stadium Transformation project shortlisted in the design category of the European Polycarbonate Sheets Extruders (EPSE) Awards Competition 2015.
The aim of the EPSE Awards Competition is to promote the unique properties of polycarbonate and the wide array of applications in which it can be used. Polycarbonate is a material that can easily be worked and modelled thus allowing it to be used for virtually any kind of application. It is widely used in the construction sector, mainly for big-size installations like stadiums, arenas or Olympic venues. Polycarbonate sheets are commonly used in engineering and, among others, in the automotive, electronics and medical industries. More recently, polycarbonate caught the attention of interior architects, furniture designers, artists and a number of other niche markets.
The awards will be given in three categories: innovation, sustainability and design. The jury panel has pre-selected 3 projects in each category which are now published on the EPSE website.
This year for the first time the general public can vote for their favourite polycarbonate projects.
Click here to visit the EPSE website where you can find descriptions and a dedicated gallery per project and vote for your favourite project. Voting is open until the 16th of October.
The winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony which will take place 3rd November at the Batimat Exhibition, Paris Nord Villepinte.
