5mm Foamalux White Wolsey Window Display

Wolsey Window Display

5mm Foamalux White foam PVC was used to create a stunning backdrop to signify the launch of Wolsey’s new brand ambassador British Expedition Leader Alex Hibbert. Wolsey, that made its name when it was commissioned to outfit Captain Scott and his team on their 1911 expedition to the Antartic, is considered to be the oldest brand in British menswear and is proud holder of a Royal Warrant, therefore official supplier to the British Royal Family.

For their flagship store in London Soho’s Brewer Street, Wolsey wanted to create a dramatic effect that would represent Hibbert’s trek to the North Pole, ‘The Dark Ice Project’. Stark colours and HD imagery were used for the window display and to create a breath taking effect, multiple layers and various saturations of ink were used to bring the imagery to life. This was then complemented internally with dramatically cut unprinted 5mm Foamalux White to stimulate broken ice pieces.

The pristine white and smooth finish of the white foam PVC enabled the designers to recreate severe and arctic conditions. Combined with its ease of fabrication, durability and lightness in weight, Foamalux White proved to be the ideal choice for this striking window display in the heart of London. Read more about Foamalux White.
