Brett Martin today announces that it will be launching a number of new products on its stand (8aC31) at K 2013, taking place from 16th – 24th October in Düsseldorf, Germany. Affirming its commitment to innovation, product quality and customer service, Brett Martin’s K showcase will allow visitors the opportunity to experience the company’s extensive range and investigate the endless opportunities its products offer to the construction, fabrication, print and display sectors worldwide.

Marlon portfolio expands to allow even better climate control
Having already earned a brilliant reputation for quality and performance in industrial, commercial, agricultural, horticultural, and DIY glazing, roofing and cladding applications, the Marlon Polycarbonate range is a lightweight, high performance rooflight material with an impact resistance 200 times greater than glass. Part of the Marlon CS range, visitors to the Brett Martin stand will see for the first time Marlon CS Opal Diffuser, a corrugated polycarbonate sheet that offers advanced solar control and enhances UV resilience in hotter climates.

In addition, the new Marlon ST Blue, an innovative transparent multiwall polycarbonate sheet, contains Cool Light Technology to block near-infrared solar energy to reduce heat build-up by as much as 7 degrees Celsius. This new product is added to a range that already includes thicknesses from 4-55mm in a range of structures and special options depending on the application.

Other products in the Marlon polycarbonate range at K 2013, which comprises multiwall, corrugated and flat sheets in a choice of tints, colours, coatings and finishes, includes:

  • Marlon FS, a brilliant glazing solution, particularly when safety or impact resistance are of importance
  • Marlon Clickfix, a complete architectural glazing system providing quality natural light, insulation and UV protection

One stop shop for transparent flat sheet plastics
Alongside its popular polycarbonate, acrylic and PET transparent sheet options , Brett Martin will showcase its new PETg, Marpet-g FS. Offering exceptional ease of workability in print and display applications, Marpet-g FS is a lightweight, durable, 100% recyclable clear substrate with excellent optical clarity and light transmission properties. The sheet, currently available in thicknesses of 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm, is an ideal graphics adhesion solution.

Foamalux range continues to grow
Lightweight, versatile and durable, Foamalux has earned a reputation for its quality performance and endless applications in sign, display and print. Building on its flagship product, Brett Martin recently extended its Foamalux Colour range by launching Neon Pink, Neon Green, Raspberry and Black Sparkle colours. These additions set Foamalux even further apart from other brands, with 15 available shades in its Foamalux Colour collection to make it the widest range of foam PVC available.

Visitors to the Brett Martin stand will also be able to view:

  • Foamalux White, available in thicknesses of 1mm to 19mm. The bright white substrate minimises occurrence of UV yellowing in digitally printed applications. 
  • Foamalux Ultra, Brett Martin’s high gloss premium surface PVC offering. Available in white, red, yellow, green, blue, grey and black, the 3mm or 5mm product offers enhanced UV protection and a high quality gloss finish.
  • Foamalux Xtra comprises up to 80% recycled content in its black core, which is sandwiched between one or two bright white PVC surfaces of white virgin PVC to allow for dramatic finished effects.

Also on the stand will be Brett Martin’s Marvec PVC series, a weather resistant, durable roofing, glazing and cladding material that is available in corrugated, flat sheet and roll formats. Offered in transparent and opaque colours, it is lightweight, easy to handle and install in any application. K 2013 visitors will be able to view:

  • Marvec CS, a durable roofing solution with excellent UV, chemical and fire resistance
  • Marvec CS agri, a chemically resistant and durable covering for the walls and ceilings of agricultural buildings
  • Marvec FS, a flat sheet in clear and white options, and is suitable for a range of glazing, cladding and DIY applications
  • Marvec FS bio, a hygienic cladding that is 99.9% effective in stopping bacterial growth and killing bacteria.

Finally, visitors can see Marcryl FS, a top quality extruded acrylic sheet with high gloss finish and excellent optical clarity. Its versatility, ease of fabrication and scratch resistance makes it an ideal product for a wide variety of applications in the display, fabrication and building industries.
