Cascade Adds a Touch of Class to 19th Century Former Vicarage

Isleworth House Cascade

The Cascade Cast Iron Style Rainwater System was used to add a touch of old style detail as part of the refurbishment of a former vicarage on the banks of the Thames within the Isleworth Riverside Conservation Area.

MCD Architects needed to get the balance right between aesthetics, long term performance and cost-effectiveness to ensure an architecturally sympathetic appearance was achieved and in the shortest time possible and without the health and safety implications of handling and installing cast iron.

The Cascade cast iron style rainwater was the ideal solution giving the appearance of traditional cast iron with all the benefits of plastic materials and at a fraction of the price of cast iron. Using the high capacity 160mm Roundstyle Gutter and 105mm Round Downpipes, to offer high levels of roof drainage and completed with the addition of Cascade cast iron effect Hoppers.
