Keeping Titanic on dry ground

Brett Martin supplied its Underground products ensuring the Titanic building in the heart of Belfast has a drainage system that keeps it on dry ground for many years to come.

Opened in March 2012, in time for the centenary of the Titanic sinking, the eye-catching building sits on the banks of the River Lagan and within the Titanic Quarter, an area described as one of Europe’s largest and most exciting waterfront developments.

The architecturally unique building is an integral part of the development and has helped transform the 185-acre site into a mixed maritime quarter which has a mile of water frontage made up of apartments, restaurants, offices, bars and other leisure facilities and attracts upwards of one million visitors each year from across the world.

The state-of-the-art building includes a series of exciting exhibitions for visitors to enjoy and has been designed to bring the Titanic ‘back to life’. With Brett Martin’s underground drainage products now in place the Titanic Building will be there for many years to come.
