Cutting

Cutting

Martherm can be cut with a fine tooth circular saw or hand saw held at a shallow angle. Support the sheet close to the cut and hold it firmly to prevent stress and vibration when cutting. Remove any rough edges with a sanding block and clean dust and swarf from inside the sheet with a domestic vacuum cleaner or jet of dry compressed air.
Drilling

Drilling

Martherm must be drilled using a masonry drill. Drill at a slow speed using a light pressure and support the sheet firmly underneath when drilling. Never drill holes closer than 50mm to any edge of the sheet. Take particular care when cutting and drilling Martherm in cold weather.
