Glazing
The complete range of Mardome dome rooflights are glazed using
premium quality Marlon FSX, solid polycarbonate sheet.The co-extruded
UV protection on Marlon FSX means that 98% of harmful UV radiation
is eliminated.The UV barrier also protects the polycarbonate
from exposure to sunlight. |

Thermal Performance
In order to achieve varying degrees of insulation Mardome is available
in single, double or triple-skin
polycarbonate glazing.Triple skin glazing specified with either the
cellular PVC kerb or the insulated aluminium kerb with internal thermal
cloak (available only on Premier) can achieve Part L. |

Tint Options
Mardome is available in clear, bronze, or opal tints or a textured
glazing option. Clear glazing will provide direct natural daylight
with a light transmission of 90% (single skin).The bronze option limits
the light transmission to 44% (single skin) and minimises glare from
the sun. Opal provides a diffused light transmission of 53% (single
skin) and is ideal where privacy is required. Creating a soft light
quality, opal is well suited for installation in workshops or laboratories
where even light distribution with few shadows is important.The textured
polycarbonate option allows privacy and good diffusion together with
excellent light transmission
(73% - single skin).
