Graduate Maintenance Process Engineer

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Maintenance Process Engineer will assist in the daily co-ordination of site reliability improvement initiatives and support improvement within the Maintenance department.

The role:

  • To ensure accurate and timely recording of equipment breakdown / reliability events.
  • To issue reports on equipment breakdown / reliability data
  • To support in investigations to identify causes of equipment breakdown / reliability events
  • To analyse equipment reliability history and risk analysis and assist in recommendations on appropriate stock holding
  • To improve the effectiveness of maintenance schedules
  • To assist in risk analysis across key assets
  • To assist in the execution of engineering projects and tasks 
  • To assist in the implementation of predictive maintenance techniques
  • To assist with departmental administration, including sourcing of spare parts

The person will:

  • Be educated to degree level in an Engineering discipline, preferably in mechanical / electrical engineering 
  • Be results focused with ability to work on own initiative
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Have good organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise projects
  • Have sound analytical skills combined with a practical approach to problem solving
  • Have good written and verbal communication 
  • Be I.T. literate and be proficient in Microsoft Excel
