Mallusk

Hours:

8:30 AM - 5:15 PM, Monday to Thursday, Friday 8:30am- 2:45pm

Salary:  

Negotiable depending on experience

Key responsibilities:

Induction Process Management:

  • Oversee the delivery of Brett Martin's induction process for production new starts.
  • Ensure comprehensive training in Health and Safety, Manual Handling, and Quality to guarantee a safe and proficient workforce.
  • Validate the competency of new hires by the conclusion of their induction period.

Learning Management System Administration:

  • Efficiently manage Brett Martin's LMS (Litmos), ensuring seamless onboarding for new employees.
  • Set up and assign new starts to relevant teams and courses, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Be involved in content creation as and when required.

Classroom-Based Training:

  • Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to facilitate classroom-based training when required.
  • Ensure training sessions are engaging, informative, and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Take the lead on product and production training.

Lean Workshops and Business Improvement 

  • Deliver Lean Workshops to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate Business Improvement projects resulting from Lean Training, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coach and Mentor employees who are working on Continuous Improvement Projects.

Onboarding Support 

  • Assist in the onboarding process for other production-focused roles, contributing to a seamless integration into the Brett Martin team.

Developing Training Content 

  • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts to guarantee the accuracy and relevance of training content.
  • Update training records as necessary to reflect current standards and best practices.

Fork, Truck and Health & Safety Training

  • Coordinate fork truck and health and safety training programs.
  • Strive to internalize training programs, ensuring compliance with legislation and keeping employee training up to date.
  • Assist Health and Safety in the delivery of Tool Box Talks as and when required.

Construction Product Competence:

  • Collaborate in the development of Brett Martin's Construction Product Competence Matrix.
  • Ensure effective training is deployed as needed to enhance competence among the production teams.

Brett Martin Academy 

  • Manage and oversee the Brett Martin Academy for production and maintenance roles.
  • Assist in the delivery of training as needed, providing support to employees going through a Brett Martin Academy programme.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with employees going through a Brett Martin Academy program.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Adaptability.
  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a training/learning and development capacity, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
