Reporting to the Drainage Products Team Leader, the successful candidate will be required to have a ‘hands on’ approach to machine setting, process optimisation and also address Quality related issues on a day to day basis. Duties will include new process introductions, process improvements for cost reduction or capacity expansion and production fault analysis. This position will be on a shift basis

The successful candidate will have -

  • At least 4 years’ experience in an Injection Moulding with a hands-on machine setting role.
  • Experience of structured process improvement and problem solving techniques within an injection moulding environment.
  • Direct experience of a “real time” machine monitoring system.
  • Ability to complete autonomous maintenance on IMM’s.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work shifts.

and ideally have -

  • A 3rd level qualification in a polymer science / mechanical engineering or some other related discipline.
  • Experience of working with PVC & Polypropylene polymers.
  • A good working knowledge of Windows based software.
