Warehouse Supervisor

Brett Martin is a firmly established global business, manufacturing an ever-growing range of plastic and building products.

You will be responsible for the daily operation of the warehouse and for overseeing a team of 15 production operatives. You will be comfortable in managing KPI's, whilst optimising efficiencies where possible. You will oversee that all orders are picked to meet time targets and explore ways that can improve site operations.

This is a dayshift Monday to Friday role with some occasional weekend working required.

The Role:

  • Leading the warehouse stock, picking and yard loading teams;
  • Delegation of daily duties, whilst motivating others;
  • Overseeing the delivery, receipting and storage of goods as they are produced by on-site factory; 
  • Ensuring all inventory, orders and stock management processes are completed; 
  • Replenishing and restocking of inventory; 
  • Supervising loading / unloading trailers in the yard; 
  • Liaising directly with the logistics & sales team to ensure customers are supplied OTIF; 
  • Promoting a Health & Safety first culture; 
  • Maintaining high standard of Housekeeping using 5S methodology.

    The Person:

    • Compute
    • Previous supervisor experience in a warehousing environment; 
    • Previous experience of warehouse operations is essential; 
    • Good understanding of warehouse management systems; 
    • Excellent communication skills; 
    • A great customer focussed attitude; 
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office; 
    • Hold current counter balance and narrow aisle licenses.
