We have full time vacancies for Extrusion Operatives working within the Extrusion Department.
The role:
- Production, packing and testing extruded items
- Setting up, starting and shutting down of extrusion lines
- Problem solving and monitoring of extrusion process
- Receipt and process of raw materials
- Maintenance of all extrusion plant
- Stock counts and verification
- Record accurate production figures and booking of finished product
- Fork truck operation
- Carry out and promote good health and safety practices pro-actively
- Site housekeeping
- Any other work as directed
The person will need:
- The ability to work as part of a team, efficiently to set deadlines
- High standard of literacy and numeracy is vital
- These roles can also be physically demanding
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment is an advantage
Full training will be provided. Operatives report to the Team Leader on shift.
