A vacancy has arisen for a full time Human Resource Assistant to join the HR Department.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 17:15
Friday 08:30 - 16:15
Main duties/responsibilities will include:
The HR Assistance will be responsible for providing first line HR Support and will work closely with the Senior HR Advisor supporting on various generalist tasks and to support the achievement of the business and people objectives within the company.
They will provide efficient HR support and administration across the full Employee lifecycle and HR activities, including: recruitment, selection and induction, attendance management and training and development.
Ensure key information is kept up to date at all times in line with current employment and data protection legislation (GDPR) and maintaining up to date Employment Law knowledge and manage the risk of ER issues.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- Experience of working in HR administration/assistant/HR Trainee advisory role.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or working towards.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to create and implement and improve administrative systems using Excel.
- Experience of prioritising work to meet deadlines and work calmly under pressure.
- Experience of working with confidential information.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of the team.
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Ability to develop and maintain clear record keeping systems, including basic databases.
- Keeps up to date with Employment Law.
- Self-motivated, flexible with an enthusiastic approach to work and learning.
The Human Resource Assistant will report to the Senior HR Advisor.
