The Role

As an apprentice you will have the opportunity to learn and develop the range of skills necessary to become a high quality Trainee Process Technician or Technical Operator. You will be provided with a structured 2/3-year training programme of both on-the-job and classroom/factory based instruction.

Essential Criteria

Applicants must be keen to pursue a career in engineering. Applicants will either have 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at Grade C or above to include English and Maths or equivalent Level 2 qualification.


On completion of the NI Level 3 Apprenticeship Framework for Polymer Processing Operations you will obtain:

PAA\VQ-SET Level 3 Certificate in Polymer Operations (competency based qualification)

Pearson BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (knowledge and skills based qualification)
