Based in Mallusk and reporting to the Group Finance Controller, this senior level role will have responsibility for all financial and accounting reporting across the Building Products Division.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute individual who has significant practical experience of managing financial activities at a management/senior management level within a manufacturing and production environment. You must have successfully completed professional examinations in one of the recognised accountancy bodies below:-

  • The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland
  • The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland
  • The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales
  • The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
  • The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants; or
  • The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy

You must have proven experience of making a meaningful contribution to the decision-making process of a business and must be able to demonstrate that you have played a significant role in the growth and development of a business.

You must have proven experience in preparing and presenting monthly reports at senior management level and must also have significant experience in the review and development of MIS/accounting systems to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and consistency.

The role will include staff management responsibilities such as training and development and performance management.

The candidate must ensure that communications are maintained at the highest possible level between management, the workforce and key stakeholders and should therefore have strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. In addition, candidates must also be able to demonstrate strong people
management skills.
