Tesco Dot Com Only Store (DCOS)

Tesco DCOS, Trilite GRP Rooflights

Tesco is just one of the big name brands to embrace the concept of internet shopping by building a 10,500m2 warehousing and distribution centre at Greenford in Middlesex.

Fulfilling online grocery orders within a 45-mile radius the facility prominently features a total of 1,090m Trilite GRP site assembled rooflights.  These were specifically designed to suit Euroclad’s SF500 roof system and boast thermally efficient triple skin glazing to maximize the potential for energy and cost savings whilst exceeding the requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations.

Building owners are becoming more switched on to the benefits of installing triple skin Trilite GRP site assembled rooflights in wide span buildings.  Often the only way to bring in natural daylight, the electric lighting requirement can be significantly reduced.  This has a positive impact on energy consumption by cutting energy costs whilst also improving the carbon footprint of the building.
