Canalot Studios Polycarbonate Glazing System

Several Marlon Clickfix 1040 polycarbonate panels in glass clear, each measuring 12m long, were used to glaze the atrium rooflight in the offices at Canalot Studios in London.

The project involved the refurbishment of the common parts of a large Victorian warehouse that was used as offices for small companies involved in the media industry.  Particular care had to be exercised whilst carrying out the works to insure that no disruption occurred to the tenants businesses which include live radio broadcasts, auditions for film and TV programmes etc.

Marlon Clickfix was chosen for its aesthetic appeal and ability to cold curve on site. Consisting of damage resistant Marlon multiwall polycarbonate panels the system is designed to simply click and fit together to create seamless façades or rooflights.  With a 40mm thick 10-wall structure polycarbonte sheet, Marlon Clickfix 1040 achieves a U-value of 0.99 W/m2K, creating thermally insulating rooflights and façades whilst bringing natural daylight into many building types.

Available in a variety of tints and colours with varying degrees of solar control, Marlon Clickfix1040 is suitable for use in all building types.

As with all Marlon multiwall polycarbonate, Marlon Clickfix1040 comes with a full 10 year warranty.
