New Center Park - Marlon ST Heatguard Opal

New Center Park - Marlon ST

Marlon ST Heatguard Opal was used to glaze the roof of an outdoor concert venue in New Center Park, Detroit. The city wanted to add a shelter to the centre stage without blocking out the natural sunlight, yet reducing the daytime heat on the performers. The chosen material was 25mm Heatguard Opal polycarbonate due the flexible design and superior performance. The sheets contain a dual-layer colour combination in the same sheet that reduces heat gain by up to 50% whilst bringing in high levels of natural light. With the permanent roof in place, the city created a beautiful open-air amphitheatre, the place to be for outdoor films, concerts and other summer events. Read more about Marlon ST Heatguard Opal
