Lacefield

A new ongoing development in Belfast's Upper Newtownards Rd, is proving that new modern developments can also have heritage appeal and acheive the necessary external finishing details required for that all important first impression and stimulate sales in the Northern Ireland housing market. Using 106mm Prostyle gutter and 68mm Round Downpipe the Victorian style houses with their red brick facade have been given the cast iron look whilst providing installers and house owners with all the benefits of modern plastics.

Benefits of Cascade for the installer include lightweight product, quick and easy to handle and transport and is manufactured so close in detail to the real thing that it is hard to tell the difference. It offers huge efficiencies in product costs, installation and site costs compared to traditional materials and makes working at height (particularly relevant in this case) easier and safer. Benefits for the homeowner include that Cascade is corrosion-free, UV stabilised and comes with a 10 year guarantee making it very low maintenance in comparison to real cast iron.

There are three styles of domestic gutter (106mm Profiled Ogee, 112mm Half Round and, for larger or steeper roofs, a 115mm Deep Profile) which utilise 68mm round or 65mm square downpipes. For commercial projects there is a high capacity 160mm roundstyle gutter with 105mm round and 4” x 3” rectangular downpipe choice.

Now there is also an extensive range of accessories and moulded hoppers which can carry bespoke designs and a choice of Six Heritage Colours: Classic Black, Oxford Blue, Olive Green, Graphite Grey, Sandstone and White Porcelain, the Victorian look was acheived using 'Classic Black'. A soil system comprising 110mm Soil Pipe, Soil Stack Shroud, access fittings and adapters provide's a full aboveground drainage range for the customer.
