Green Olive Cascade Featured On 19th Century Truckers Hatch

Brett Martin Green Olive Cascade Cast Iron Style Application Truckers Hatch West Sussex

Green Olive Cascade Cast Iron Style Rainwater Systems were used on the renovation of a 19th Century property in West Sussex.

Built in 1883, as part of the Hyde estate, the house originally featured traditional cast iron ogee style guttering, painted green to tie in with the property’s fascia and soffits.

Cascade was chosen due to its range of six heritage colour options, reflecting the trend for priming and painting traditional systems and both 106mm Prostyle and 112mm Roundstyle Guttering, along with 68mm round downpipe, were installed, replacing the existing cast iron.

In this particular installation, Cascade provided a cost effective alternative to cast iron, offering the benefits of modern plastic materials while still maintaining the traditional aesthetic of the period style home.
