This 1950’s post war bungalow in Bournemouth was completely transformed through the careful specification of authentic design solutions – including our Cascade cast iron style rainwater system – ensuring the architectural detail was maintained and enhanced throughout.
Originally built on a vacant lot and surrounded by older inter-war period houses, choice of materials was a key consideration to achieving the architecturally significant appearance of this extended property, ensuring the completed home is in synergy with the architecture of the road.
Its authentic styling perfectly complemented surrounding materials, both old and new, to provide the perfect rainwater solution in the remodelling of this post-war home to combine historical ‘arts and crafts’ aesthetics with exceptional performance in accordance with BS EN 607.
