FMCG giant selects Multivault SSR for sustainable builds
Multivault SSR barrel vault rooflights were specified for a sustainably built storage facility located in the industrial hub, Dubai Industrial City (DIC).
This particular build, Jaleel Warehouse, belongs to the FMCG giant Jaleel holdings which is headquartered in Dubai, and with multiple wholesale, retail and distribution companies, is the UAE’s largest consumer goods wholesaler.
One of Jaleels key priorities is to develop a sustainable supply chain and the construction of this facility was also built with sustainability and environment goals in mind.
The owner wanted a better performing advanced skylight with a low U-value to reduce energy consumption and a standing seam roof to also accommodate solar panels. Multivault SSR was selected on account of being able to meet both these requirements and a resulting 219 vaulted rooflights measuring 1.2m wide by 3.75m long were installed.
Brett Martin’s relationship with Jaleel has continued with Brett Martin supplying rooflights to two more of Jaleel’s cash and carry developments as well as being specified for multiple projects.
